“Thanks to the generosity of a bursary, we were able to send our son to St Columba’s where he has seen a great deal of success in his SQA exams (straight As at all levels). He now has five unconditional offers from the five universities to which he applied.”

“I am very lucky my parents had financial support which gave me the opportunity to gain 5 As in my Highers and secure my place at university. I am looking forward to coming back to give as much as I can to the school community.”

At St Columba’s School we are committed to nurturing an inclusive and diverse community where every pupil has the opportunity to thrive academically and personally. We are therefore pleased to be able to support families by offering means-tested financial assistance in times of need to those who would otherwise not be in a position to attend St Columba’s.

Bursary applications must be made as soon as possible for immediate entry. If an application for entry is being made for the following academic year, the bursary application must be submitted before the School closes for Christmas (approximately 8 months prior to August entry).
